Temporary employment, abbreviated as TE, is also referred to as temporary work, agency work or personnel leasing. This is a form of employment in which employees are hired out by an employer (lender) to a third party (hirer) to perform work. In this case, the employees remain legally employed by the hirer but work for the borrower.
